Please ensure the following is ready for your arrival, to avoid delays at the gate:

1. Your ticket, assigned to your legal name (ticket must match your ID)
2. No additional tickets in your name: extras must be transferred to your friends
3. Please have your QR Code, printed or downloaded from your User Portal so it's ready to scan 
4. 2 pieces of ID (one must be a Government-Issued Photo ID)

There is limited cell service and no WiFi available at the Pre-Party. Please bring 2 pieces of ID (one must be a Government-Issued Photo ID) and download your tickets prior to leaving cell service and be ready to show them to our team when you arrive on the farm. • Log in using the e-mail address associated with your order. If it’s your first time accessing your order online, you will need to create a password by clicking “Reset or Create Password.” 
• You can easily transfer some or all of the items on your order by clicking the “Start a Transfer" button in your User Portal. This will prompt you to fill in the new individual’s legal name, email address and phone number. Please carefully review the items you are transferring before completing the transfer. Transfers cannot be undone. 

Tickets are available online in advance, as well as on the day of the event, from 12pm to 12am at the gate (cashless payment only).

• If it's your first time using our new online system, create a password by clicking "Reset or Create Password." You'll receive a reset link via email. Check your junk, spam, and promotions folders for the link. If you have more than one reset link available, please select the most recent one for use.
• Please do not claim your QR Code for any tickets that you do not intend on using yourself. Claimed tickets cannot be transferred. If you’ve claimed a ticket you wish to transfer, simply click the “Unclaim Ticket” button and proceed with the transfer.
• To transfer a ticket, log into your user portal at portal.shambhalamusicfestival.com, click "Start a Transfer," and enter your friend's or new buyer's details accurately. This transfer can not be undone so please be sure the information is correct, specifically the email.
• After the transfer, both the original purchaser and the new ticket holder will receive an official transfer receipt from SMF. It will include instructions on how to access your tickets or lodging packages on the online ticketing system. The transferred items will be removed from the original purchaser's account. If you don't receive your transferred ticket, check your junk, spam, and promotions folders for our messages as they sometimes wind up outside the main inbox.

Self-sufficiency is required, as the General Store will not be open for this event. Bring two pieces of ID one must be a Government-Issued Photo ID, ice, water, food, snacks, camping gear, a flashlight, bug spray, and anything else you may need for a comfortable one-night stay in the woods. Please refer to the main Shambhala Music Festival Packing List for additional packing suggestions. 

There will be one food vendor on-site, Billybobs Meat Street, offering burgers, hot dogs, wraps and more. Please plan your meals and snacks accordingly. 

Free water is available - please bring a refillable water bottle.

Showers will not be available for this one-night event. Please do not bathe in the Salmo River. 

The gates open at 12 pm PDT on Saturday, June 28th and close at 12:00 AM, with no re-entry. Please do not arrive earlier as this creates congestion on the highway.

Access to the Shambhala Music Festival Pre-Party will be via the bridge entry, which is 4 kilometres from the original entrance most Shambhala Music Festival guests would be familiar with. You will take a short dirt road off Highway 3 and 6, 6 km east of Salmo, BC. 

Once you turn off the highway, follow the road that goes along the river (that's where you'll hit the bridge). Simply drive over the bridge and one of our crew will be there to greet you and direct you to the gate.

Vehicles will be subject to searches by our event security team, and items may be confiscated at their discretion. No glass is allowed. Security will be referring to the same Banned Items list as the main event, Shambhala Music Festival.

Alcohol is permitted in your campground, however, it is not permitted in the stage or beach areas. Glass is banned - please remember that we are a working farm. Respect each other and your neighbours, and keep an eye out for your Farmily members.

No access to main festival grounds: Access to Downtown Shambhala and the 6 Stages is strictly prohibited during the Pre-Party. Please respect these rules as our stage crews will be hard at work preparing for the 26th Anniversary. Thank you for your understanding.

All tickets are General Admission (GA) and grant access to the Salmo River Ranch Campground (Riverside) from 12:00 PM (PDT) on Saturday, June 28th, 2025. Music is 4:00 PM Saturday to 4:30 AM Sunday.

Riverside - General Camping: Riverside Campground General Camping is included in the price of your ticket and it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that once you have your ticket, you can camp in the general camping area without any additional costs, but spaces are allocated based on who arrives first. It is advisable to arrive early to secure your spot. The general camping area features a mix of campground sites and open camping (similar to the SMF format).

The Shambhala Pre-Party has a stacked lineup featuring Gentlemens Club, Truth, Smoakland, K+Lab, SkiiTour, VEIL, Abstrakt Sonance, Carissa Gem, Chimp It, Dolla Hilz, Dubconscious, and Kato. Music runs from 4pm on Saturday, June 28th until 4:30am on Sunday, June 29th.

Tent and car camping in the Riverside General Campground is included with your ticket and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no additional costs to camp in this area, but spots are allocated based on arrival time - so we recommend arriving early to secure your preferred location. The general camping area includes a mix of designated campground sites and open camping, similar to the SMF format.

The campground will not be open prior to Saturday, June 28th at 12:00 PM. Guests will be permitted to stay an additional night on Sunday, June 29th, free of charge, to ensure they are well-rested and sober prior to travelling home. Quiet hours will be in effect on Sunday night and all guests must be off the property by noon on Monday. If you would like to extend your stay in the Kootenay region, we encourage you to explore other local options. 

Exciting news - this year, we will have Billybobs Meat Stree on-site at the Pre-Party, offering burgers, hot dogs, wraps and more.

The Pre-Party will be held in the Riverside Campground. Access to Downtown Shambhala and the 6 Stages is strictly prohibited during the Pre-Party. Please respect these rules as our stage crews will be hard at work preparing for the 26th Anniversary. Thank you for your understanding.

The Riverside Stage is located within the Riverside Campground on the Salmo River Ranch. It features a 300-degree dancefloor and is tucked under a vibrant red and white tent, some may recognize from previous editions of the AMP Stage at Shambhala Music Festival.

There will be a medical tent located in close proximity to the Riverside Stage, should you or your Farmily require medical attention during the Pre-Party. 

There will be roaming Harm Reduction volunteers at the Pre-Party. The “Consent Kitties” at the gate will be wearing purple harm reduction bandanas and kitty ears. Outreach Volunteers will have very bright pink hoodies that say “here to help” as well as purple harm reduction bandanas. 

ANKORS will not be on-site at the Pre-Party. However, they will have test strips and drug checking services available at their Nelson office on Saturday, June 28th from 12 pm to 5 pm, for anyone who wishes to utilize them prior to travelling to the farm. The address is 101 Baker St, Nelson, BC.

River conditions can change quickly! Please be aware of changing conditions including current & natural conditions. The Salmo River is unsupervised, and swimmers use the river at their own risk.

1. Buddy system: pair up when participating in river activities, ensuring no one is alone in case of an emergency.
2. Avoid swimming at night: do not swim after dusk due to reduced visibility & cooler temperatures, which increase the risk of accidents.
3. Awareness of water conditions: moving water changes - be aware of currents, natural hazards & obstructions.
4. No diving: never enter moving water head first.

• Plan a designated, rested, sober driver. 
• Schedule a departure time in advance.
• Pack lots of water and snacks for your departure journey from the farm.
• Make sure you get enough sleep before taking the long journey home on those mountain roads!
• Always have a conscious co-pilot.

Guests will be permitted to stay an additional night on Sunday, June 29th, free of charge, to ensure they are well-rested and sober prior to travelling home. Quiet hours will be in effect on Sunday night and all guests must be off the property by noon on Monday.
