The Shambhala Pre-Party takes place at the legendary Salmo River Ranch, tucked within the forested Riverside Campground.

Tickets

All tickets are General Admission (GA) and include entry to the Salmo River Ranch Campground (Riverside) starting at 12:00 PM (PDT) on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Music kicks off Saturday afternoon and continues into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Please note that entry is restricted to those 19 years of age or older.

Camping

Every ticket includes free camping in the Riverside Campground (General Camping) and free parking. General Camping is first-come, first-served, so arriving early is the best way to secure your preferred spot. The area features a mix of campground sites and open camping (similar to the SMF format).

Lodging

Enhance your Pre-Party experience with a convenient Lodging package:

Riverside Glamping
- 5-metre cotton canvas bell tent, complete with power, a queen-size bed, full bedding, a cooler, water jug, and two lawn chairs. Designed for up to two guests, this option balances comfort with a natural camping vibe.
Riverside RV
- Spacious 40' x 20' campsite with 30 amps of power, perfect for your RV, trailer, and additional tents or furniture. Each site accommodates up to eight people and includes parking for one vehicle.
Riverside Yurt
- 19 square meters of space in a furnished yurt featuring two queen-size beds, full bedding, a cooler, water jug, and four lawn chairs. Suitable for up to four guests, with parking for one vehicle included.

FAQs

What time can I arrive?

The gates open at 12 pm PDT on Saturday, June 27th and close at 12:00 AM, with no re-entry. Please do not arrive earlier as this creates congestion on the highway.

May I stay an additional night on the farm before or after the party?

The campground will not be open prior to Saturday, June 27th at 12:00 PM. Guests will be permitted to stay an additional night on Sunday, June 28th, free of charge, to ensure they are well-rested and sober prior to travelling home. Quiet hours will be in effect on Sunday night and all guests must be off the property by noon on Monday. If you would like to extend your stay in the Kootenay region, we encourage you to explore other local options.

Will there be food available for purchase?

Yes, the exact vendor will be announced closer to the event.

Will attendees get to access all of the Shambhala Music Festival grounds?

The Pre-Party will be held in the Riverside Campground. Access to Downtown Shambhala and the 6 Stages is strictly prohibited during the Pre-Party. Please respect these rules as our stage crews will be hard at work preparing for the 26th Anniversary. Thank you for your understanding.

What stage is the Riverside Pre-Party being held at?

The Riverside Stage is located within the Riverside Campground on the Salmo River Ranch. It features a 300-degree dancefloor and is tucked under a vibrant red and white tent, some may recognize from previous editions of the AMP Stage at Shambhala Music Festival.

Medical Services & Harm Reduction

There will be a medical tent located in close proximity to the Riverside Stage, should you or your Farmily require medical attention during the Pre-Party. There will be roaming Harm Reduction volunteers at the Pre-Party.
ANKORS will not be on-site at the Pre-Party. Please plan accordingly. However, they will have test strips and drug checking services available at their Nelson office. The address is 101 Baker St, Nelson, BC.
