2025 ATTENDEE-ORGANIZED EVENTS
Below are some of the theme days and meet-ups that guests of Shambhala Music Festival have organized for the 26th Annual Festival. Please note these are mainly unofficial events (not officially endorsed by Shambhala Music Festival).
Thursday
Day Onesie
When: Thursday, July 25th, 2024 at 4pm
Where: Everywhere!
What: Wear your favourite onesie to celebrate the opening of our first two stages for the weekend, the AMP and the Living Room.
2025 Clothing Swap ✨ 2nd Annual Farmily Wookwill
When: Thursday, July 24 at 12pm
Where: Wishing Tree
What: Bring your gently used festival gear and find some new gems, giving your wardrobe a sustainable and fresh look for the farm before the party starts! Noon on Thursday under the Wishing Tree. "One wooks trash is another wooks treasure” Note: please ensure you remove any leftover clothes from the Wishing Tree when the event is over!
Mombhala Meet Up 2025
When: Thursday, July 24 at 6pm
Where: Wishing Tree
What: Meetup will be held at the Wishing Tree at 6pm on Thursday! This event is to hold space for all the moms to join together and create everlasting connections & memories. I will have kandi and trinkets to hand out.

Friday
Shambhala Grief & Healing Circle
When: Friday the 25th at 3:00pm
Where: Wishing Tree
What: Finding Connection Through Music, Memory, and Presence
Join us for a gentle, supportive gathering designed for anyone navigating grief, loss, or emotional healing. Amid the joy and energy of the festival, this space offers a moment to pause, reflect, and connect with others who understand the weight of what you’re carrying.
We’ll create a safe, grounded circle where you can share your story—or simply listen—without judgment or pressure. Through mindful conversation, and the soothing power of music, we’ll honor our loved ones, our pain, and our resilience together.
Whether your grief is fresh or long-carried, you’re not alone. Come as you are. Stay for a moment, or for the full session. All are welcome.

What to Bring: An open heart, a small object, or a photo to share (optional), and yourself—just as you are ❤️
Whispers of the New Moon: A Mythical Flow Tea Soirée
When: Friday, July 25 at 4pm
Where: Yoga Garden near Sunburst Canopy
What: Calling all mythical creatures alike!
Elves, Pixies, Mermaids, Fauns, Nymphs, Dragons and any other beings with lore!
Join us for a magical gathering and tea party overlooking the enchanting Salmo River near the Living Room Entrance— Nestled between the Sunburst Canopy and Yoga Garden you'll find a mossy meet that just might be right for you.
What must you bring to this momentous gathering of spirits alike? Bring a vessel with warm or cold water as we shall be passing around tea bags to every fae, cookies! And your magical tools (your choice of flow toy) to bask in a soul-deep connection in nature’s cradle.
Location: Between the Sunburst Canopy and Yoga Garden
Date & Time: Friday 4 til 5pm
Vibe: Think whimsical! Any woodland or mythical creature you would like to embody show up as
Bring: vessel to drink in, elixirs or foraged finds to share if you like (please warn others of contents, in case of food allergies), blankets or mossy patches to lay on, flow toys, art, or music — whatever magic you carry!
Let’s co-create a space of whimsy, collaboration, and just a little bit of pixie dust.
Moth Pit Meetup @ The Village
When: Friday, July 25 at 9:45 PM
Where: Village Art Gallery
What: Calling all Village Moths!
Our time is drawing near, time to spread our mothy wings and assemble for the Second Annual Moth Pit Meetup at The Village! Let us gather under the spectacular lamps, lights, and beams for a Moth Pit! Bring your fellow moths and lamp friends!
Here's the plan for Friday 7/25:
9:45PM - Assemble the swarm at the Village Art Gallery
10:00PM - Descend upon the Village stage to bask in the glow of the Moth Beams; the Moth Pit begins.
From there, we can migrate to other stages if we can break away from the glorious light of the beams!

Bring your crew or come meet new friends - come dressed as a moth, a lamp or bring a moth/lamp totem! All insect species welcome.
Group Chat will be created a month before so that we can share outfit inspo and get to know our fellow moth friends!

Saturday
2025 Annual Shambhala Pride Parade
When: Saturday, July 26 at 2 PM
Where: Meet at the Culture Canopy
What: This march through the Salmo River Ranch is a vibrant celebration of love in all its forms. A moment to honour and uplift our LGBTQ2SIA+ community, and a beautiful reminder that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Bring your rainbows and come as you are, you are HOME.
This year’s parade flows right into the Rave Runway Extravaganza at The AMP Stage at 3 PM. Get ready to cheer on some of the best-dressed beings on the farm as they strut their stuff on the runway. Plus, enjoy some unforgettable performances!

Rave Runway Extravaganza

Sanrio Saturday Meet-Up 2025!!
When: 6pm-7pm (group photo at 6:45pm)
Where: Wishing Tree
What: I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be hosting my Sanrio Saturday meetup again this year!
Whether you love Sanrio, anime, Pokémon, cosplay, or just making new friends and trading cute things—you’re invited! Come hang out, swap trinkets (like Squishmallows, Pokémon cards, stickers, & more), come meet some lovely humans, and soak up the good vibes
Costumes are totally welcome if you wanna dress up, but absolutely not required!! Just bring your sparkle, your smile, or your favorite trinkets and join the fun!
We’ll be gathering from 6 to 7 pm at The Wishing Tree, with a big group photo around 6:45 pm—so feel free to join whenever you can!

Purple Hat & Cheetah Print Group Photo
When: Sunday, July 27 at 6pm sharp
Where: Near the Fractal Forest entrance (TBD)
What: DANCING PEOPLE!! It’s time to gather your cheetah print attire and/or dust off your favourite purple hats in honour of one of the best dancefloor bops ever. Let’s meet up for a group photo on Sunday at 6pm - exact location to be announced soon. It will be near a Fractal Forest entrance in Downtown Shambhala.
Theme Camps
Camp DayCare

What: Camp Daycare is a place to relax, be a kid, do a craft, colour, adopt a stuffed animal, stock up on a juice box or a snack and meet new people. We offer a multitude of daily activities from making friendship bracelets, arts and crafts, stuffed animal adoption day, a take one leave one, mini workshops, music hour with little instruments to play, etc; fully stocked with fun things for our guests to do at all times. It's a place to connect and enjoy the comforts of home.
