Hailing from the East coast of England, K-OS is a DJ/Producer with a love for music spanning the majority of his lifetime. From his pre-teens right through to the present day, he has taken a hands-on approach to nurture his passion and develop himself as an artist. Travelling through the spectrum of trance and traversing the high-octane world of drum and bass, K-OS now finds himself permeating the realms of house, techno and associated sub-genres. Citing inspiration from artists like Prok | Fitch, Leftwing:Kody and Max Chapman, K-OS lends himself to the heavyweight end of the scale in terms of energy and cadence. His diverse dance music background is apparent in the way he plays as well as his production output; drum breaks, hard-hitting kicks and deep and heavy basslines feature prominently in his emphatically energetic musical persona. In terms of releases, K-OS is beginning to make a name for himself as an established producer with releases on Rollerblaster, BOOST Weapons, Key + Needle Records and Play Nice Collective gaining him reasonable notoriety, along with an impressive result in FaderPro’s Roger Sanchez Remix Competition - where he confidently swept up second place. With an increasing presence building across clubland and radio airwaves, K-OS has had the pleasure of gracing many of London’s finest club spaces including O2 Brixton Academy, Lightbox and Egg London thanks to his residency with LTR. He also holds a residency with one of the capital’s most respected dance music stations in that of Reprezent Radio, as well as having featured on the renowned Data Transmission ‘Spotlight Series’ - which also led to K-OS making his mark on the ‘Homegrown’ stage at Wilkestock Festival. Building nicely on an impressive start to his career - which has already seen him support the likes of MK, Dom Dolla, Carnao Beats, No Messin, Groovekode and many more - K-OS continues to focus on refining his artistic template and increasing his fanbase.
