A note about taking photos and recording video while on the Salmo River Ranch:

Want to use your own camera?  Record the magic?  Yes!  Please take photos, share your experience and show your friends and family. Remember to ask before you take a photo.  Be respectful.

If you are taking shots of you and your friends at the river or on the beach, please use your discretion. We ask that cameras remain in their bags on the beach. Nude photographs posted online are subject to legal action. It is all about Respect.

While attending Shambhala Music Festival, working at the festival or volunteering at the festival, you consent to being filmed or photographed.  Your image, your voice, any performance, any art and any likeness may be used for Festival promotional purposes unless otherwise stated in contract.

*Any media, photography or video, which is taken while on the property of Salmo River Ranch is subject to a mandatory, non-exclusive license to Shambhala Music Festival for promotional purposes.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS/VIDEOGRAPHERS:

Shambhala does not permit any filming on site with professional equipment unless authorized with a SMF Media pass.  This includes, but is not limited to, anyone who professionally films any performance or an act or DJ, or any location on Salmo River Ranch. If you wish to join the SMF Media Team, we invite you to apply! Applications will be online March 12th – 23rd.

If you are using professional gear, you MUST obtain a Media Pass.  Again, this includes any videographer or photographer shooting personally for any DJ, performer or stage.
