How do I become a vendor at Shambhala?

Attending the festival as a vendor is very different from your average experience. Our vendors work hard every day of the event, and prepare year round. To be considered, you must have experience vending at festivals and events – we want to ensure that you will make it through!! Also, remember that most of our vendors return year after year, so we look for different and unique products from what we already have.

All information pertaining to vending will be released with the application some time in the new year. As our policies can change, most information will not be released to the public until we are ready to send out the application. Here are a few tidbits to get you thinking about whether vending with Shambhala is right for you:

Food Vending:

- Food vendors are open 24 hours a day from Wednesday morning to Monday afternoon – some until Tuesday morning.

- Food vendors usually set up kitchens (outside of their trucks) and are cooking round the clock. Remember that our whole operation is off grid, so certain equipment is not allowed.

- Each operation takes between 10 and 22 people to run, and months to prepare. Vending spaces differ in size.

Artisan Market:

- Each space measures 10×10, and takes between 2-4 people to run. Access to power is limited.

- Artisans are expected to be open during the day from Wednesday morning to Monday morning. Some stay open late into the evening.

No costs for either option will be released until the new year, with the application.

Please send all vending inquiries to vendors@shambhalamusicfestival.com. Please note that no information other than what has been given above will be released.
