WARNING: Avoid Ticket Fraud!
Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder about safe ticket purchasing! When you're purchasing tickets that are not from our online store or an authorized ticket vendor, please be aware that you are taking the risk of buying a ticket that was possibly 'lost', stolen or purchased with a stolen credit card. We've seen all of these happen before, and end up having to ask people to pay the door price at the gate. It sucks. Sadly, we just had a case last week where someone had purchased tickets from Craigslist that had originally been purchased with a stolen credit card, and the tickets they'd bought were not valid for the festival. So, before you purchase a ticket from someone you don't know, please always ask for the barcode # and check with us to verify the authenticity of the ticket BEFORE purchasing. You can email Mel, our ticket administrator at sales@shambhalamusicfestival.com. When you purchase your ticket from a store or in a private sale, always make sure you write down your barcode number somewhere safe in case it is lost or stolen. If your ticket is lost or stolen, please contact the office. Play it safe...purchasing a bunk ticket is an expensive mistake!

Shambhala Movie Premier!!!!
The Shambhala Documentary makes its World Premiere at the Okanagan International Film Festival next weekend! The film will be shown during the music spotlight on Saturday, April 25th at 9:15 pm at the Paramount Theatre in Kelowna, BC.
The film has been nominated for an award in the Canadian Documentary category.
The documentary captures the spirit of the first ten years of Shambhala, the people, the music, the mountains, the river that runs through the site and the feeling of gathering for six days with 10,000 other people. "We have the ability to express ourselves with festivals like Shambhala and the ability to have autonomy and freedom around art and expression,” director Levy said. “I think the one thing I get out of Shambhala more than anything is just how lucky and fortunate each and every one of us are to have places like that to congregate and communicate.”
