The farm is looking so nice right now! The buildings are getting painted, the fence is being built, the stages are hard at work. Our group of volunteers this year are amazing. It is a great bunch of people working extra hard.
Dad had cut down his hay and had some difficulties with equipment. A whole bunch of people gave up their Sunday to come and help him out. It is a tough job, but they all pitched in and lent a hand. Thanks!
I can't believe the show is so close. I keep thinking about how few days are between now and the time our door opens. Each day seems to go by more and more quickly. Each day there are new arrivals. Everyone is excited and pumped.
Next week is a big week. Many of the behind the scenes workers will start to arrive. Then we will get the wave of admin assistants. And then the Team Leaders. Life is scheduled out. Still lots to do, but if we keep getting the great help we have been graced with, we will finish site projects by the end of the week. That gives a lot of time to be there for the contractors as they arrive and trouble shoot whatever has gone off track.
