Shambhala Music Festival 2010 : Artist Profile

    Creator and director of the Fractal Forest and Fractal Media, he started collecting records at the age of 8. Influenced heavily by his older brother's eclectic tastes in music and knack for staying on top of the cutting edge of music, he found himself exposed to rock, funk, punk, disco, hip hop, new wave, ska, reggae, alternative, grunge, techno and electronica. In 1983 he went to his first dance featuring a DJ and was immediately fascinated with these strange figures that had all the coolest music he had never heard before. Pretty much at the same time the mtv and music video revolution was begining and having grown up on a diet of electric company and hilarious house of freightenstein, he started putting the puzzle together in his head of a fully interactive show merging all mediums. The concept of one performer orchestrating all the music, lights, lasers and effects to play seamlessly as one show.  Join Rich and Fractal Media in the Fractal Forest and experience the magic of the funkiest show on earth. 12 years in the fabrication... and still evolving.
